Joe’s sells Bell & Evans chicken in many different cuts and whole birds. Bell & Evans® is a pioneer in the natural foods market. Their chickens are raised and processed in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, in their modern facility, using only the latest technology.

Today Bell & Evans is a leading producer of chickens raised without antibiotics. Their chickens are fed an all-natural diet of hexane-free soybean meal and corn, supplemented with vitamins and minerals.

You will find Bell & Evans in the finest restaurants, natural food stores, hand-picked supermarkets, and premium butcher shops like Joe's. Such retailers understand there is more work involved in handling fresh chicken., but we realize the extra work is worth it for our customers.

Joe's sells whole 4-7 lb. average chickens or will cut bone-in or boneless breasts for you. We also offer legs, wings, and livers.
TURKEY
Joe’s sells all-natural (no hormones) fresh young Plainville Farms turkeys in a range of sizes from 10 to 34 lbs. We will also sell you bone-in turkey breasts (4-7 lb. average), fresh ground all-white meat, necks, or drumsticks. All will make a delicious addition to your dinner table - year-round!

All of Plainville Farms' fresh meat products satisfy FDA standards for the use of "Heart" and USDA standards for the use of "Lite" on its labels. Plainville was the first and only company given permission by the USDA to use "Animal Friendly" on its labels. Plainville's turkeys run free on litter in naturally ventilated buildings, receive 30% more space than generally provided in the industry, and are certified by the American Humane Association for its humane growing of turkeys.

In 2000, Plainville Farms whole fresh turkey was judged "Best Taste" and "Best of the Show" by The American Culinary Institute, a trade organization of some 35,000 chefs. In addition to fresh meat items, Plainville Farms produces a full line of deli products made with All Natural Ingredients.

In Joe's deli, we serve up fresh sliced all-white Plainville turkey breast. There is no finer turkey sold anywhere!
